Well, I guess I am asking if the Twin Snakes for the GameCube is a remake of this? If so, I wouldn't mind getting this, see how much different it plays on here, and because it comes in a bundle for $30 at Wal Mart, along with MGS2 and MGS3.

yeah twin snakes is a remake of this game, however this game in pretty much everyones opinion that ive talked to about it blows twin snakes out of the water.

the voice acting mainly, is slaughtered by the twin snakes, MGS is so much better in that respect. and although the twin snake is on a better consol with better graphics, i still MUCH prefer this game. not just because it is the original real mccoy that started the metal gear solid franchise, but because it feels like a much more solid game. none of that ridiculous matrix style crap in TTS

I love the music on MGS1 as well, it goes with the game in all parts, as stated the graphics are better on the gamecube, i remember thats why i bought a gamecube, on its release date, i bought a gamecube double dash edition with MGS twin snakes but was disappointed, i feel they didnt attempt enough to attract several people to buy the console and game.
