1) Please don't use caps lock.

2) When the screen goes black and Hideo comes up, put your controller in port 2.

3) You have to dodge that stuff.

or, you could actually put the controller in the other port during the FMV before the screen goes black.

for the paintings & stuff that come flying @ u, u should be alright if u stay to the sides...

as for the vases & stuff, just lie on the ground...

remember to use the thermal goggles & the controller in port 2...

i just kick & punch him, i find that less of a hassle...

I find it better to stick close to him as well.

Use the inferred goggles to see him when he goes invisible and remember to switch controller slots.

Well that's because he can read your mind plug your control on the 2nd player slot then he can't read you mind.

To defeat Psycho Mantis -
1) Plug your controller into port 2
2) Put on your infa red goggles
3) Work out and remember his pattern of attack
4) Have patience and shoot when you can

remember, this boss takes ages to kill, so be patient and duck whenever he throws things, good luck,

Hes name is Psycho Mantis and when your screen goes Kojima remove your controller and putt it in the block 2 then Mantis can't read your mind.

I agree. I dont see Moderator in red under your name and if i were you i wouldnt try and play one. The true mods get pretty upset when people do their jobs for them.

yeah you mean the psycho dude that Psycho Mantis...When the screen wents black you have to change the analog in the 2 place...Then Psycho Mantis can't read your mind...

1)When the screen turns black plug your contoller in port two so Psyhco Mantis can't read your mind.

2)Where your Thermal Goggles when mantis puts on his stealth camo.

3)Just body-slam Meryl when she starts shooting at you or try throwing a Stun Grenade.

4)Dodge evrything mantis throws at you.

5)Use your Socom or Famas to shoot Mantis until he dies.
