My attention has been directed towards this forum due to it's high activity. I will be checking up on it periodically as I am the section moderator and this forum is unmoderated. This forum will not get a moderator, because most of it's activity is spam that I can clean up in 25 minutes and PSX forums are unapplicable.

First off, in a forum without a moderator, off-topic general discussions are not allowed. You already got an on-topic one, and soon I will see how on-topic it actually is. The off-topic is obviously not going to work out. It was started 4 days ago and had roughly 200 replies. Obviously something like that would require more constant supervision, so I've deleted the thread and I insist that you don't make another one.

I'll allow some of the games that you guys like to move on, but do remember, that when they reach 30 pages, they'll be closed and deleted soon after. It's spam that does not need to be wasting space in Neoseeker's database. You'll notice a lot of threads spontaneously disappearing in the next fifteen or so minutes, that's because I'm cleaning up the crap here.

I haven't seen any real problems in this forum, rule-breaking wise, it's just a bit of spam. As long as you remember to follow the sitewide rules, you'll be perfectly fine.

If I've closed or deleted something I shouldn't have, or you have a suggestion or comment for me, this thread will remain open and I will read all things posted here.

Yes, because it wasn't a discussion thread, it was a spam thread.

Anyways, it's not too hard to moderate the PSX forums. I'm an experienced moderator on Neoseeker and a good few of the PSX forums are dead and therefore need no attention.

I'd prefer no spam at all, to be perfectly honest. And so would Neoseeker administration, so that's the way it's gonna be.

And yeah, veering off topic slightly is acceptable - as long as it doesn't spark a 3 page discussion on the issue. The General Discussion is looking great and on-topic enough, keep up the good work.

I think that something along those lines would require a moderator who has knowledge about the game; which this forum doesn't have (I've never played Metal Gear Solid). I've seen things in this forum get out of hand, so I'm going to have to say no. I've already addressed this via pm for you yesterday, I believe.

What tipe of forum is that one you linked Kjg ?

The Loungin' forum is a place to basically discuss anything you want - that isn't spam.

I have well over 200 forums to maintain (I moderate ALL Playstation forums) as well as the second busiest forum on the website (RuneScape). It's hard to see everything. Private Message me and I'll almost always reply within 24 hours for issues like this.

A trivia thread in a forum without a permanent moderator is disasterous, so no, you can't.
