No, Wall of Bones would likely not work on Shamsuk. Most bosses are armored against such spells, and he will likely use mirror early in the battle to increase his protection level.

The easiest way to beat him is to not give him any time to do anything. At the start of the battle rush him with all your characters and surround him. Keep nailing him with powerful physical attacks, and use strength if you have it. He will be unable to counter quikcly enough and will be defeated quickly and without much trouble. From here you can split up and destroy his companions.

but what if i give the wall of bones wand to abrecan who has no attacks that have any range and use it before he can reach shamsuck and before shamsuck can use any spells?

Well, in theory it would work on a normal enemy. But not on Shamsuk. Here's why:

#1 - He has extremely high protection values (anti magic points). Nine out of ten times the spell would miss anyways. So you would have to be really lucky.

#2 - Shamsuk will use Mirror on his first available turn. Once it's up he won't be affected by wall of bones. Mirror will wear off during the battle, but you won't know when. Once it does, he will restore it immediately.

#3 - Shamsuk will always go first in battle, as his dex is maxed out. And like I said, he goes with mirror on his first turn. So you would have to have a character with higher dex than Shamsuk, and that's highly unlikely.

Seriously, don't worry. This guy is easy. You'll have more trouble dealing with his posse of guards (wraiths, skeletons and zombies) than you will have with the man himself. He's a pushover. I usually kill him before he even does any real damage to my characters.

ok but abrecan has max dex and by the time i reach him breena will to but wutever i guess ill belive u and not worry about it

The max dex for your characters is 30. Shamsuk has a dex rating of 39 I believe. The only way to get your dex that high is with equipment. So if you have a dex of 30, but you are getting +9 from your equipment you actually have a dex of 39.

Even if you did get your dex as high as his, he would likely still go first. Like I said, just kill him and you'll be fine.

bullshit!!i've killed shamsuk a bunch of times with wall of bones and i usually get the first attack too and don't say it's luck because i've got REALLY bad luck when it comes to that game:P:P:P
