re: Shippin'

The shields show up fairly often (maybe 1 for every 6 warriors you kill). There are lots of warriors inside the temple, and throughout the game so don't worry if you only get 1 or 2 shields here.

The robes are a little rarer, as are the enemies that carry them, but you should leave the island with one or two when all is said and done.

Remember, after Chaos Island Chaos Minions become a regular part of your fighting days on the road, along with Goblins and animals. Pretty soon, you will also encounter Shamsuks forces, which consist mostly of the undead.

All in all, you'll have lots of oppourtunity to get this gear. It's just that the sooner you get it, the easier things are for you.

re: Shippin'

Shamsuk looks like a normal human guy (well, about as normal as any of the human guys in this game look). He's got a blue robe and a cool staff. He usually travels with a posse of Zombies and Wraiths.

His tower is pretty tough in that it's confusing. The battles aren't too bad though. The tower doesn't actually take that long if you just go straight through, but there is lots of good equipment you can search for.

Ok, and I just read an old thread that said all you had to do in the Chaos Temple was fi nd the teleportation Scroll, and then you can exit the temple and go to the namers Island. Is that true? ...hopefully it is!

re: Shippin'

You don't even have to do that. All you have to do is find a way out once you're in. You can't go back out through the front door, so you'll have to fight your way through.

If you get stuck, search the area for switches and stuff to open doors. Only the first part is confusing (the underground part is fairly straightforward).

Make sure to watch for that gear. Also, if you're up to it you can re-enter the temple when you're done and all the guys will have regenerated, so you can fight again.

Make sure you get everything you want before you leave though; you can't ever get back here.

Cool. Thanks!

AHHGGHHH!!! Chaos Slayers? Holy crap! I was beaten down! Anyways, where is the freaking Chaos Temple? Is it that skull thing you see when you first get there or, where is it? And where is Marquis and the wall-o-bones wand?

Yeah, they'll do that. The best strategy is to move around the battle area and take out all the minor guys first. Then have everyone rush him at once and take him out. Use Dispell type spells if you have them on your party members to combat his "weakness" spell.

It's on the top of the mountain; don't worry, you'll get there.

The Wall of Bones wand is in a treasure chest on that little penisula (the one with the portal on it). Search near the water. Remember, the wand can only be used 5 times and then it's gone (to keep it, just save and reload the game, the number of charges (times it can be used) will refill.

The Marquis is on a platform on the side of the mountain... he can only be defeated with wall o bones, so make sure you have it.

re: Help Thread

I have cleaned up this thread (I merged most of your double posts into single larger posts Mdog), and I have also made it a sticky so it will always appear at the top of the page.

Please use this thread for any further questions about this game (if you are stuck or need help).

Thanks.

re: Help Thread

I was just wondering where are Donovan and Barid? When and where do they join? Who will have to go off my team if they get on it? Should they join? I mean all the other people that might be replaced have high stats, so should they join?

re: Help Thread

Both of these characters will become available in the Inn in Terminor after you beat Shamsuk's tower.

I've never used Baird, but Donovan is all right. Still, there is no need to make them join if you don't want them. However, after Shamsuk's tower you will have an open slot for your party (don't ask why), so you might consider one of them.

re: Help Thread

OK I wa swalking up the stairs to Chaos Temple and I fell into this pit with a warp portal in it, and a couple of theses lever things, and a group of Chaos Stormers and troopers. So I was wondering if this is part of Chaos Temple, and can I just go in and out of the portal to finish Chaos Island? I have beaten Marquis.

re: Help Thread

Umm... I think that's a glitch in the game (and one I've never heard of before). You are supposed to enter the temple through the door on the roof... to my knowledge you shouldn't have fallen off the stairs anywhere.

Sorry Mdog, you're on your own for this one. Tell me how it goes.

re: Help Thread

It wasn't a glitch. I went to Chaos Temple and went in the front door. I had to be in one battle aginst 2 chaos warriors and 1 chaos scout, I beat them and walked right back out the front door! So then I went to Cradwaghs Island, and found him, killed the chaos group there, and set off for port Saiid. Then I went to Talewok. I talked to Ardra, had the funeral for Cradawagh, and went to Terminor. Now I'm in Terminor and have just gotten Niesin in my group. I'm heading for Shamsuk's Tower now.

re: Help Thread

Hmm... okay, that's cool. I think it was some sort of glitch though... it sounds like for some reason you fell through part of the floor inside the temple right to the end.

You start at the top of the temple and work your way down... I think you must have skipped a large portion of the temple if what you described is correct.

Good luck with Shamsuks tower. If you get stuck, check out some of the Faq's for this game.
