Bumping up old help threads, don't do it! |
|
Look people, today I had to clean out around 5 ancient game help threads that were bumped up within the last 24 hours. I know you guys want to increase your post counts, but perhaps then a forum for a game that has been out for 2 years is not the best place to reply to everything in sight! We like to assume that around here our members are somewhat trusted to know where it's ok to post and what to leave alone. A locked thread is merely for those too dense to figure it out on their own. Post where your conversation is more than a lame attempt to raise your post count. The next member who bumps up an old help thread will serve 5 days away from this section of the site, I feel as though my good will in the matter so far has been severly stepped on.
If you can find enough to talk about on this boards, there are many, many, other areas of this website: quoteNote: This list stolen from Kuduros. This message was edited by DrFred on Oct 08 2002. ------------------- This is your ass -> O This is your ass in jail -> O Any questions?

I'm bumping up this old thread (irony intended) to remind you guys to PLEASE not reply to old threads asking for help with Driver 2. I know everyone is eager to help here, but there's no point in replying to a question asked several years ago. The old threads are left on neoseeker so that someone can bump up an old discussion if they have something relevant to add. I find it hard to believe there is anything relevant about answer a 3 year old plea for game help.
An additional note: Please do not comment on the worthwhile nature of a thread (or the lack thereof). If you feel a thread is violating the Neoseeker rules in regards to spam, use the report feature to alert a moderator and leave it alone. Replying to a spam thread with messages like "this is spam" or "why did you make this thread" is insulting to the thread author and contributing to the problem instead of reporting to someone who can fix it. ------------------- This is your ass -> O This is your ass in jail -> O Any questions?
