Ric Flair's Retirement

As I'm sure we all know, Ric Flair is on his last years if not his last year of his career and his retirement and how it goes is a very huge and important subject in the WWE right now. What do you think his retirement will be like? When, where, and how? What do you think his final match will be like and who do you think he will be facing? I just wanted get some thoughts on this important topic about the final moments of one of the greatest if not the greatest to ever step foot on the squared circle.

re: Ric Flair's Retirement

I heard that he has actually quit the WWE ever since some incident. I could be wrong though.

I love Ric Flair, but I admit he is becoming very unfit, and you can notice it in his matches. I wouldn't mind seeing him manage for the rest of his career or something.

re: Ric Flair's Retirement

It was reported that he quit, but later he mentioned he still is with WWE and is planning to make a return soon in the future.

I also like Flair, a guy like him who can go for his age is pretty impressive, not only that but he goes out of his way to make great matches(I think his I Quit match was even a MOTY candidate). He's one of those prime examples which show that you don't need to make +5 moves to put on a great match, because every time you have those saying "omfg he cun onli do a chop n get thrown off teh turnbackle n figure 4!!11" well to me, if he can still put up great matches up to his day, he's alright in my book.

Although it's true that sometime you gotta call it a day, I guess he's finally decided on it. Given if he has that plan going, I'm hoping at Mania he faces someone like Kennedy.. well maybe not, because I hope of bigger things for the Ken man, but someone held in high regard. I wish he could've faced King Booker, that could've been a great storyline and an interesting face-off between the two, they both go all the way back to WCW after all.

re: Ric Flair's Retirement

I wouldnt mind a Ric Flair/HHH feud, or maybe something to do with Evolution all feuding, but Orton, Batista, HHH have better things to be doing, but it would be good, maybe if Flair cheated his way to the top at WM24, in a fatal four way.

But it's one of the best things they could do, or another boring Vince/Flair feud.

TBH, i dont think he should be left near Undertaker/ Michaels etc. He's just not at that point, the only reason he should get near HHH etc, is because of previous ties.

re: Ric Flair's Retirement

I think he needs to retire. He's had an excellent long run, but it's time to hang up the goods.

It's like "The Simpsons". IMO, that used to be a great show, but now it has run its course & needs to go off the air.

All good things must come to an end.

Rumours were he was going to retire at WM24, whether that's still on the cards I don't know.

re: Ric Flair's Retirement

When ever he retires he will be missed sureley, but he in ring skills do bore me as he only does a few chops, a back drop then the figure 4....boring in my eyes.

Other than that he would be great as a heel manager again, getting involved when he shouldn't

re: Ric Flair's Retirement

Evolution was a great faction and he helped it get to the top, as mostly a manager. I think he would be a great manager of another tag team, but we need more future triple H's and future Batista's

Why would anyone love a overmuscled shitty wrestler with no charisma?

re: Ric Flair's Retirement

Even if he retires, Flair easily has the charisma to live out his WWE days as an authority figure. That'd own tbh.
