Kanda was quite the troublemaker on the show, he interfered in at least one other match. Let's see what happens on 5/5 in the 6 man match, he could be walking out bald (loser loses his hair or mask).
DG will also run their first-ever USA shows in September: 9/5 in LA, 9/8 in Hawaii. All-Japan: TAKEMURA thanked the All-Japan directors for allowing him a singles match with Osamu Nishimura, saying that their prompt action is highly appreciated. TAKEMURA swore to strike and crush Nishimura, and told the press that he would retire Nishimura in Korakuen, and urged the fans to carry their legs to Korakuen in order to view this. Nishimura responded to TAKEMURA's comments saying that when TAKEMURA started "Muga" in 1995, he was a good friend who did both official and personal affairs, and when he joined New Japan in 2001, he remembers it like yesterday, but said that TAKEMURA will hold a grudge with him that must be settled in the middle of the ring after jumping from "Muga World" to All-Japan. Nishimura said that he has seen TAKEMURA awaken after the incident in Nagano last year, and although it had been over five months since the incident that he wanted to finally hang the last conclusion in Korakuen on April 20th. NOAH: Scheduled participation for Coventry Skydome (England) show on 6/21: Mitsuharu Misawa, Jun Akiyama, Takeshi Morishima, Naomichi Marufuji, Mohammed Yone, Go Shiozaki, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, KENTA, Junji Izumida, Tsuyoshi Kikuchi, Kotaro Suzuki, Taiji Ishimori, Atsushi Aoki. The only announced match so far is Misawa & Marufuji vs. Shiozaki & Kenta Kobashi. The promotion also is selling limited edition copies of the 10/27-12/2 Double Budokan DVD. These 30 copies have been personally autographed by Kobashi and are available for $50 via NOAH's website only (they're selling them through eBay first-come first-serve, the cost includes the DVD plus shipping, says they ship worldwide) As of this posting, only 18 remain and once they're gone, they're gone forever. The Open The Owarai Gate title is more or less a comedy thing (Owarai means "comedy" in Japanese-so the title's literal translation is "Open The Comedy Gate"). Here's the description from DGUSA, the DG site of the puroresufan.com network:
quoteI have yet to see one of these matches but I imagine it's along the lines of what you'd see in promotions like CHIKARA with some of their wackier characters. ------------------- My Blog-Sports, MMA, Girls, Etc.

Akiyama/Rikioh-Same as Misawa/Ogawa. They face Sasaki & Nakajima. Morishima/Yone-They need help. They have to win, both Misawa/Ogawa & Akiyama/Rikioh must lose, then they'd have a tiebreaker against Smith & Saito. Smith/Saito-Same as Morishima/Yone. Marufuji/Sugiura-Tiebreaker is the only way. They have to beat Morishima & Yone and hope Akiyama & Rikioh lose and Misawa/Ogawa vs. Smith/Saito ends in a non-time limit draw (that would mean no points). Sasaki/Nakajima-no chance. Everyone else is done.
