Okay guys, it's a pretty well accepted fact in this forum (and the rest of the internet community) that Raw is completely in the gutter at the moment. Vince is back turning it into more of a variety show than anything, with a more weaker and shallow product every week, with virtually no quality wrestling, ever. Now, normally boycotting these things doesn't really seem to work, but we should all be aware of what a whore Vince is for the ratings, and how he actually will reshape the product based on what draws and what doesn't.

So basically, let's start a movement here. If you're sick of the way Raw is, spread the word. Rather than us all bitching about how bad it is week after week, why don't we just stop watching it for awhile and watch the domino effect of lost interest? This is actually something that we CAN make a difference in, especially since almost everyone is the sick of the way things are on Monday Nights now and are open to sacrifice in order to bring the show back to par with the other brands (or even better, as the "flagship" show should be).

Granted, I know a lot of people won't consent to quitting watching altogether, but I'll at least recommend these methods. DVR it rather than watching it live - the Niesen ratings aren't processed by DVR ratings, only those watching the immediate channel during the actual broadcast time. Or, if you want to continue watching the show but are sick of some segments in particular, don't just leave it on and do your best to ignore it. ACTUALLY CHANGE THE CHANNEL. This shows a ratings drop which Vince and the rest of the higher ups are VERY OBSERVANT ON. Do what you can guys, this is our chance to actually cut this bullshit and make the once enjoyable 9-11 block that much amusing again rather than seeming like a routine chore.

BOYCOTT RAW AND WATCH TNA.

That will make WWE realize that TNA is better than them.

Not going to happen, brah. If you don't like it, just don't watch it. Simple as. No need to try and inspire two other people on an internet forum to do the same, thinking that it could somehow change the way WWE does things.

It won't happen, people will stop watching RAW cause it's shit and will lose interest, not cause someone told them to boycott it.

I've already stopped watching Raw as often, but sadly it won't change anything(especially as they don't focus on Canadian ratings, ha). The best thing to do is... to indeed not watch it, and wait it out.

We got SmackDown! with Jericho/Punk-filled awesomeness to fill the void in the meantime.

Obv two people won't do anything. The intention is this is to create a widespread realization online that if there is a collaborated effort of people stopping or reducing their watching of Raw it will lead to a difference. Hell, most of Raw's viewers are in some way connected with the IWC, even if they're not avid users of forums, chats and dirt sheets, they are still in one way or another open to such information, and if people were aware that a lot of people were doing this, there's nothing stopping it from becoming widespread.

I'm not going to watch Raw come Monday...

But only because I'll be leaving for work when it comes on.

To make a worthwhile difference noticeable, you would need millions to stop watching it, even if we told everyone we knew (assuming they all agreed with us and watched Raw, it just wouldn't happen). Technically, I don't 'watch' it via the ratings anyway, so I don't need to do anything anyway.

Think myself and the majority of the people in this forum will just flat out ignore you and keep watching it frankly.

You're acting like the idea of boycotting a wrestling show is an innovative idea when it comes to the IWC.

Okay, this is ridiculous. I could understand this if they had done something really tasteless. Hell, I don't even like the current ECW, but I'm not going to tell other people that they should stop watching it. I think your plan is going to backfire.
