re: BOYCOTT RAW |

I watch Raw for entertainment while I watch Smackdown for wrestling. Sure, you can classify the wrestling on Smackdown as entertainment but I am overall, satisfied with both shows and see no need in boycotting Raw. Seriously, if you don't like it then don't watch it. This isn't going to do much. Raw may not be on it's best years but they're doing a shitload better than TNA right now.

quote Lightingthose who say that haven't been following TNA cause, imo, Raw just sucks. It is just lame comedy from SantinA & Vince, bad wrestling matches and the boring and stale Randy Orton main event. There was MVP, The Miz and Kennedy to save this show and well, MVP is still in the US. title picture, The Miz will eventually job to Super Cena and Kennedy is released. Even some tag matches and x division matches in TNA are better than Raw. =/ i hope the rating falls so they realize how bad they're doing. ------------------- everyone lives bound by their own knowledge and awareness. that’s called reality.
but knowledge and awareness are vague, and perhaps better called illusions.

Yeah, I don't even watch iMPACT and obviously there's that stigma attached to it of being horrible and insanely booked but every week I become less and less convinced that Raw is any better.
As I've said before; stale, unfunny and boring isn't much better than silly and nonsensical. -------------------

While there was still quite a few bad things on last week's iMPACT, I can say with confidence that it was faaar better than the last two RAW's. Those were just painful to watch. At least with iMPACT if something was baaad you could laugh a little instead of hiding your face in embarrassment. Smackdown & ECW are definitely heading in the right direction while RAW is pretty much just a show for all the kids to see Batista and John Cena save the day from that damn bully Randy Orton with his diabolical plans every week.
I bet the rest of my family will keep on watching RAW, but the most I'll see of it are some glances in the direction of the tele every couple of minutes and that's about it. Trying to sabotage RAW's ratings is not only unrealistic but kinda pathetic. Just don't watch it if you don't like it. As I say: You're supposed to enjoy a pro wrestling show, not endure it. Even if 'ya got a thousand people to stop watching RAW, I guarantee you WWE would do nothing different to get those viewers back.

I'm going to watch Raw nomatter what, It's just what I love so if you really want to boycott Raw because you think it sucks, go straight to the source, to the seed of the plant that is Raw and that seed is Vince McMahon. It has been said by multiple wrestlers/sites whoever that Vince is losing touch with his audience and his idea of what the fans want. Also have been talk about HHH and HBK knowing what the fans want, the question is, should Vince step down and let HHH run the creative team? If you really want to get the word out, start a revolution or whatever, start an actual website, buy advertising, become a gimmick and get other wrestling sites to link to you. To focus on Vince McMahon as the downfall of the current programming would be the ideal thing to do. Make a petition, let wrestling sites know and ask them to post your stuff up in the news columns. Do that plus more, it might make a dent, maybe put the idea of Vince taking a month of letting everyone else run the company see how it goes. TNA is probably the biggest thing that could make WWE better. If TNA gets their crap together and starts getting better ratings, ect ect, eventually they can go live on Monday nights and compete, THATS WHAT WRESTLING NEEDS!! But you do have to realize, the Attitude Era is DEAD. There can never be part 2, the world is changing and so isn't wrestling. ::insert your own smiley face here I cant think of which one to put::: ------------------- ![]() i love those big things.

I say wait until Vince croaks. =D
Yeah, Triple H knows what the fans want. He'll be the one to bring back blood, to bring back swearing and overall the more mature product. He's breathed and lived through that product while Vince just focuses on the business, racking in the money money money. If the WWE weren't power-hungry enough before, or at least one would think, well this definitely helps to top it. ------------------- ![]() ![]()

This would work if the majority of people who watch RAW visit internet forums, which they don't. This entire site not watching RAW won't even cause a blip on the radar.
