Monday night’s shocking announcement that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon sold Raw to his rival Donald Trump has sent shockwaves through the business world and the WWE Universe. Thanks to a deal that Mr. McMahon could not pass up, Trump has acquired the McMahon family’s most cherished property, and now has the power to do as he pleases with it. With that, the question on everyone’s mind is what will “The Donald” do next?
Trump has already wielded his new ownership in a major way, announcing that next Monday’s Raw will be completely commercial-free for the first time in the WWE flagship program’s 17-year history – and he’ll personally be on hand in Green Bay, Wisc., to oversee it. The mega-rich maven went one step further for the special event by setting up a Last Man Standing Match between newly crowned WWE Champion Randy Orton and Triple H – both of whom are already slated to meet at The Bash the following Sunday night. Only minutes into his reign as Raw’s new owner, and already Trump was making the same gutsy plays upon which he has built his reputation. Like a true business magnate, Trump’s reputation precedes him – as did his personal helicopter, which was spotted landing on top of World Wrestling Entertainment Headquarters in Stamford, Conn., Tuesday - and the Superstars of Raw are nervously awaiting the billionaire’s arrival. Perhaps it’s due to the fact that if there’s one man who relishes publicly firing employees even more than Mr. McMahon, it is the star of The Apprentice, Donald J. Trump. In fact, Trump loves axing underlings so much he actually trademarked the term, “You’re fired.” Will he bring his penchant for pink slips with him when he comes to Raw? Or will he make a power play and attempt to purchase SmackDown or ECW, perhaps becoming the sole owner of World Wrestling Entertainment? Since this is apparently not a RAW spoiler, Trump is likely only going to be involved with RAW in a futile attempt to boost show ratings. RAW is the main show for WWE, so not sure why they'd have Trump waste his time with the other two brands that almost never get media attention to begin with, especially not WWECW.

Something tells me wwe_champ isn't aware this is just a storyline....
I'd personally like him to start branching out with Vince stepping in, then having a real "SmackDown vs RAW" feud going. Make up for that terrible Invasion angle from earlier in the decade. Cool at first, but man did WWE drop the ball on that one. It's been almost 10 years Vince, time to make amends to the fans and give us the feud to end all feuds, until the next big feud comes along. To be fair, can't really punish anyone for spoilers, not when I've been putting up champs in the banner just mere minutes/hours after they claim the title. haha. -------------------

I for one loved...loved the Smackdown vs Raw feud in late 05'-to early 06.
It was great. You never knew when people were going to attack shows and it just caused mayhem. Lets take a look back at The Raw Homecoming... Now lets take a look at Survivor Seires: It was war and everything was epic and crazy and I loved it all. So I'd definitely want SvR again. -------------------  | |

They could use this as a stepping stone to put it in someones else's hands too, like Bischoff or Heyman. Realistically Vince would never sell to those guys but once Trump gets bored with owning Raw, it's believable he would.

No. Trump will not stop at Raw. Why would he? I believe next he will go after Superstars because that show needs leadership and it's without a General Manager and all. Then, SmackDown's takeover will happen with Teddy Long being fired. Trump will then buy out ECW for last, making it 2 hours long and bringing back all the old ECW guys. Then, the rumor is Trump will buy TNA and merge it with WWE and call it "World Wrestling Entertainment presents: Total Nonstop Action". Another popular rumor flying around is that Trump plans on buying back the name "WWF" and returning the WWE back to World Wrestling Federation!

I missed Raw and the announcement, but it sounds like it could go somewhere and possibly bring RAW back on top. Obviously they brought Trump in to increase ratings, but he can only tune in so many people via satellite. If he's there live than that would be something to see.

If Vince and Trump are really doing business and trying to get deals going they could make this the biggest thing since the Attitude Era... IF DONE RIGHT!! if done right...
This is how I want it.....warning, Im so bored right now at work. Raw Opening Segment: Trumps Music hits, then The Donald comes out and makes his way to the ring which is designed just like his office with table and all. He gets on the mic: Trump: Ladies & gentleman, to the WWE Universe I am here to give you what you want! I have some very important announcements. I will pay Dwayne Johnson formaly known as The Rock $100,000 to accept John Cenas challenge and to wrestle him at the next Wrestlemania. King Lawler: Is he trying to make a match 10 months in advance?? Thats unheard of! Never been done before! Trump: You all would love to see that right? Also, I'd like to make another match for Wrestlemania. To bring up the past, a rivalry that has changed the WWE, The Hulkster vs The Macho Man! King Lawler: Holy Moly! Trump: See, when you are a billionaire, you can make things happen. I am paying Stephanie McMahon 3 million to pose for Playboy, and shes going to do it! King Lawler: YES!!! YESS!!! YES!! Todd: Let go of my knee King! Trump: I'm also getting rid of drug testing! I am going to fire 7 Divas and hire outside the company and I am going to take the Divas title, and make a necklace for girlfriend, and/or wife! I am bringing WCW back and I am going to change this show to Raw Nitro! I will go to a TNA event, ask the TNA wrestlers to line up and I will buy a few of them! I am going to create an actual Tag Team Division! For now on, when a Raw match is the main event for a ppv, I will give away something free to everybody just like Vince did back in the 90s, until he got cheap! I am going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year! Ok ok, I wont go that far.. KDakota sent along the following: FoxBusiness.com has a story today talking about how GE (the parent company of the USA Network) and WWE could be in trouble with The Securities and Exchange Commission due to USA sending out a press release last week saying that WWE had "sold" Raw to Donald Trump. Yeah, I already cracked a joke about that on 411 when the headline was about WWE pissing off the SEC, and I remarked that the SEC conference schedule was tough enough to get through without pissing off Nick Saban and Urban Meyer. Anyway, it's a joke that they'd be in trouble with the non-football SEC since it's obvious it's a storyline. Bunch of morons.

I don't really like Trump as the new onwer of Raw. Because he's making a Last Man Standing match on Raw and its for the WWE Championship. That kind of match should be on a Pay Per view not on Raw.
