I've been to many WWE events and Ive been to a couple ROH events and the fans at both were different. It's easy for people to boo and make fun of then to cheer and compliment.

Well, ROH fans, no matter what other people say, are a different breed than WWE fans. At ROH, they expect great wrestling and clean finishes, which meant I wasn't terribly surprised at the reaction to the end of the Punk-Daniels match on the last card. That was a classic WWE screw job. Plus they know all the guys are going to work their butts off to put on a good show in the ring, whether it's traditional, hardcore, or Without Honor matches. Personally I'm happy to see that Samoa Joe is still with ROH despite his TNA commitments, because he's been an excellent spokesperson & representative of what ROH has to offer.

Well remember that RoH and TNA have partnered up again and do have several wrestlers that partake in both promotions. Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels seem to be the major ones.

Yeah AJ Styles and Abyss do too. I'd like to see ROH. It sounds like it would be worth going to a show for.

ROH announced another new acquisition today: Jimmy Yang (Akio in WWE) has signed for some shows this fall and winter. Also annoucned is a grudge match between James Gibson & Homicide for the 8/20 Morristown, NJ show. That show will also feature a promotion where kids 13 & under are admitted free with a paying adult admission. So if you look younger than that, get an adult to take you out to that card.
Edit: ROH is also concerned about Champ C.M. Punk appearing on last night's WWE Raw event. He wrestled in a dark match and beat a jobber named Bob Bradley. He was accompanied by Alexis Laree, who used her real name, Micki James. This message was edited by SummonerSupreme on Jul 27 2005. ------------------- My Blog-Sports, MMA, Girls, Etc.

Awsome! I use to follow Yang in the indies and as usal he was wasted in WWE, for some reason his stay in RoH sounds abit Like a Mr Londons. I pray he still in RoH and also goes to TNA. That would be ace.

I don't know what Abyss' name was. On OWW, it has him on their roster. Is ROH and TNA connecter like OVW with WWE?

ROH and TNA are not connected in the same way as OVW and WWE. WWE own OVW, ROH and TNA just have a working agreement that allows them to use some of the same talent (e.g. Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe) for mutual benefit.

I heard that the WWE is signed with ROH, for ROH.com's shop to sell WWE stuff. I looked on the shop and they have WWE shirts, and dvd's. I wonder why?

if TNA and ROH are connected, connected well then TNA/ROH Nitro will be on Spike Tv! think about it, one night a week TNA wrestlers and ROH are both on the same show, and the other days they have their own shows.
just a thought like WCW/NWO type thing. ------------------- ![]() i love those big things.

That's kind of on display again, as the daily Newswire notes that Abyss will be making some ROH appearances for Prince Nana's heel group. The first one likely will be the 8/12 show, when Abyss teams with Alex Shelley & Jimmy Rave to face Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, and Matt Sydal. An Aries-Rave singles match follows on the 8/13 show, so sounds like this Embassy-New Generation feud will beone to watch.
ROH also announced they'll have a DVD soon of an IWC show from a couple days back, said to have an awesome 30-minute match between Matt hardy & A.J. Styles. Hardy is set to face Homicide & Roderick Strong on the 8/12 & 8/13 shows, respectively. ------------------- My Blog-Sports, MMA, Girls, Etc.

While looking up the exact length of Somoa Joe's RoH title reign, I noticed something interesting...
Pure Wrestling Heavyweight Title Samoa Joe May 7, 2005 New York City, New York Nigel McGuinnes August 27, 2005 Williamsville, New York Apparently, he just lost the title last night (damn I wish they'd have PPV's). ------------------- ![]() ![]()
