re: Wrestling Memorial Thread

It's typical tradition that the funeral for someone is two days after they die. Now if a autopsy is done then it is usually two days later. So that would be thursday. I don't know when it was and it's not really important. I believe there is a message from Eddies Wife on WWE.com saying that it was Wednesday I believe. But I do agree it is disrespectful to drag it on.

I don't think it is disrespectful to drag it on, how is it disrespectful to simply remember Eddie Guerrero by posting threads/messages about him?

You did, on the previous page.

About the " 'moment of silence' / no posting " there's a slight problem with that. We're on different time zones and the fact I'm only online for an hour or less every night, it just wouldn't work. Pay your final respects to Eddie in the tribute thread before it's closed next Sunday.

Anyway, I think we should try and put it behind us though, because we can't drag this matter along forever, I believe after funerals that's it, they're gone, they rest in peace, I'm not trying to sound dis-respectful but I don't think we should drag this matter on forever.

I meant that I'm not trying to be dis-respectful, I thought he was referring to me.
One thing i'm sure of is that no-one will replace Eddie Guerrero, we will miss him, I've made peace with it, and thats it, R.I.P.

re: Wrestling Memorial Thread

Hate to bump this thread up but there's a new name to add to the list: Longtime Texas star Ricky Romero passed away over the weekend. He was a huge face in the 60s & 70s, and actually the only popular face that wasn't a Funk. He was also the father to several sons who had wrestling careers, most notably his son Steve, who was known as "Jay Youngblood".

re: Wrestling Memorial Thread

Michael 'Hawk' Hegstrand died on October 18, 2003 at 46 years of age in his sleep. He had been backing for a move to his new house in Tampa, Florida earlier in the evening. He told his wife he wasn't feeling well, so he went to take a nap, and when his wife went to wake him at 1:30am, he had died.

re: Wrestling Memorial Thread

I'll try and look up Boss Man because I know it's been posted here numerous times but I'm pretty sure it was a heart attack as well.

re: Wrestling Memorial Thread

Yeah Boss Man died of a heart attack. He was not a WWF superstar when he died though so his death was no where near on the same scale as that of Eddie Guerrero, still, a sad loss none the less.
