When WWE was at it's prime, they never gave much time to crappy divas. Other than a select few, the divas just take up so much time. I'm surpised, but not exactly sad about it.

Good riddance.. I hate the divas that the WWE is starting to give contracts. Divas that actually have wrestling ability like Molly Holly, Gail Kim, etc. have all been fired. In place of those divas they give us eye candy that can't cut a promo worth a crap and end up only kicking and clotheslining during their matches.
I am glad she is gone. Sure she was fun to look at, but their are a crap load of girls out there that are just as hot, if not hotter. You can find those easily. If we are condemned to watch a Diva wrestling match, I would rather watch a diva that can get the job done, rather than one that just looks pretty. ------------------- " school...feh..."

Christy is on the cover of this months SmackDown! Magazine (along with other SmackDown! divas). She has really improved in the ring since awarded a WWE contract. What will happen to her now, regarding her career?

It seems to me that Christy fell under the Playboy curse.
Some people ask "Who cares?" I say I do. I wasn't a fan of Christy, but let me explain: I was a little surprised, but then I wasn't. Thing is, they have let some good wrestlers go, while others quit & some haven't decided if they're completely staying or not. This just makes me wonder even more if they will let someone like Shelton Benjamin go. He doesn't get as much time as certain others, but he's flies around the ring like Superman. They should get rid of the useless ones - I agree, but I will be pissed if they let go someone with real talent, but knowing what the WWE is like, I wouldn't put it past them. ------------------- TYCP Magazine / My Sounds Now / PicSpaces | |

I only get annoyed if the WWE fires a diva with some small amount of talent, either on the microphone or in the ring, if they don't fit into either category, they're just dead wait around the company and aren't needed. WWE only drags them in for small storylines, or when the fans are dropping so they can throw in a bikini contest. A few divas who serve well as eye candy, and perhaps have a stint as a manager or part-time wrestler are okay, but when you have excess slack around the company who look nice, but can't carry thier weight, that's when problems arise. As far as her minimal amount of talent in the ring, with the Women's Division being laid to rest beside the Tag Team Division in the WWE Graveyard, it doesn't matter anyway, good wrestlers such as Gail Kim and Molly Holly are gone now anyway. Sure there's still Trish, Lita and Victoria, but it's like saying the tag division is still good because there is MNM and the Road Warriors. ------------------- | |

Me too. I thought she had a nice body and that's about it. I didn't really like her face. She was alright but nothing special. I won't miss her but I'm kinda surprised they fired her.

Well, I'm a straight girl, but I agree that Christy isn't anything special in looks. She's not ugly, but eh. I love her eye color though.

It's probably a money thing. She got her Diva Search money and her 15 minutes of fame, that or she got sick of how she was being used. We'll just have to wait and see.
As for those who are thinking TNA, this isn't confirmed but some expect her to be stuck with that 90 day no-compete clause that wrestlers get when they leave like this. ------------------- My Blog-Sports, MMA, Girls, Etc.

Disapointed and surprised by her release, that was out of the blue. Just when she was starting to become popular. Then again she wasn't exactly in any feuds before her release so meh.

WWE probably was waiting to Christy's contract was up and they had the New diva search winner decided to fire her. See only had a one year guarantee anyways

She did strut around at first, but then she started getting serious about it.
