With the recent draft of Viscera to the ECW brand, don't be surprised if you see him on television more now, as WWE has some big plans for this massively large wrestler.

WWE is going to drop his current gimmick of being "The World's Largest Love Machine" and make him more of a One Man Gang character, which means he will be basically be a mean, bad, wrecking machine. The idea for this is to get him over as big and unstoppable in ECW, and then bring him back to RAW or SmackDown! as a monster heel that can headline main events. They recently did this with Snitsky who is scheduled to mow down undercarders for the rest of the year and feud with Cena in 2008.

Reason behind Viscera's push is because of his massive size and unlike some of the wrestlers backstage, he doesn't have many problems. Dave Lagana didn't want him on the brand if he wasn't revamped with new image because he felt the "Love Machine' gimmick would never get over as a headliner for the company. Furthermore, Vince McMahon liked the idea of Viscera being pushed like the One Man Gang in the 80's. Plus, it's easy to convince Vince to push a monster, even it's failed a few times before, as opposed to a smaller person, even if the person has a history of past success.

So he'll be a big fat Snitsky? Well he ought to be better, Mabel has a LOT of WWE experience and isn't too bad of a big man wrestler, and he'd definitely go farther with such a gimmick than his love machine one. That being said, his new gimmick isn't really ordinary at all since ECW normally has this type of wrestler around. I never really disliked Mabel/Viscera, but never really liked his love machine gimmick, and since he seems to be an okay guy I will check out WWECW when the change is made to see how he does. I figure he'll keep the Bossman Slam finisher though.

I must say, I enjoyed the Henry/Viscera confrontation in the battle royal the other week. I just don't think Visc vs. benoit or punk would be any good.

I think he should go back to being Mabel; That was when he was at his best.

But I hope he gets a run with the ECW title sometime in the fall.

Yes he is getting the push because vince likes a good monster, hell even Abyss will be in the WWE soon

Doubt it. But I'd rather see Abyss than any current monster in the WWE...

Kane sucks right now and has done for months, if not years. He's still got some talent and good be a main event player, but it's clear he's just gonna be used to put over new guys until he retires.

Yeah kane needs one more title run in him, all this talk about flair needing 1 more run blah! It should be kane.

They should make him into a kane-type character and join Kane, seeing as Kane isn't really used. Meh, ah well.

Am I the only that noticed the "feud with John Cena in 2008" part? Does that really mean he's going to continue to hold the belt for another six months plus?
