Does anyone know if there is any quick easy way to farm any of the stat gain items? Such as enemies that you can steal from or ones that drop them fairly often?

Secondly, what determines the success rate of combos? It seems some combos happen more often than others. For instance cleave>triple blow>tiger fist seems to work less often than might>last resort>focus. I know there is an accessory that increases combo chances, but im not interested in that.
