When I first played this game I thought it was awesome but I didn't think it was scary like you guys did.Probably the first time I played it when I was little it was scary.

That's because the graphics are unimpressive and you've seen better. If you played in 1999 then you know how it really was. I'm playing Silent Hill 2 and there are quite a few terrifying moments. If you like Silent Hill try one of the later games such as SH2, 3 or 4. They are all good and you can get them for PC, too.

This game isn't scary at all. The flashlight gives the game more depth, and the radio makes you know what to expect. Tomb Raider, is what I call scary.

I was scared to play Tomb Raider before because of the traps. The first Silent Hill wasn't scary, but the others were.

i think he talk about this : silent hill is not scary the one that is scary has hell for him is katamary damacy and spiderman 3 hahahhahahahahaahhaa what a guy lol:D:P

Ok I cant resist...these sh haters are all *bleep*tards to say it isn't scary...you obviously just are too dumb too play this game since I find it very scary and played it years after I played the other games. I still find it scary when I think hard about whats going on and let my imagination make it look more clear. Dont play the game then play that stupid tomb raider crap games.

3 of the post SH1 SH games have all had flashlights and radios. T___T They're all scary.

Even PSX graphics are scary in themselves. Damned old fashioned polys give me the creeps.

And the radio and flashlight have a habit of not always working in SH games. As said, they've all had traps, and phsychological scares that trump the likes of Resident Evil. Even the offbeat SH4 has its moments.

That person must have a serious problem stating that tomb raider is scarier than silent hill.

Nah, I do agree that Lara Croft looks weird with all those breasts, if she was real, she would have more scars than pores.

However, back in the day when I played Silent Hill, it was really scary, then I met James Sunderland and his little friend, Mr. (Ms.?) Pyramid Head.
