For those playing the US version of AC3,here is
the hidden extras you can obtain.

MISSION SIMULATOR.

This option becomes available after you have completed
the game on the Normal difficulty level.It will not appear
after beating the game on the Easy or Hard difficulties.

Dont be decieve by the title 'SIMULATOR",this is basically
the games designation for "FREE MISSION MODE."

In the mission Simulator,you are able to play all 35
regular missions of the game.The bonus mission,"GEOPELIA"
will not appear until you have achived a B or better
ranking on all 35 missions.When you've done this,the
mission will appear in both campaign and in the Simulator.

All unlockable aircraft are available in the SIMULATOR,
except in missions 12 and 16,which requires a specific
aircraft for use on that mission.All planes will have
a new Special Weapon.......the Spread Bomb.

MUSIC PLAYER.
This option becomes available after you have beaten the
game on the Easy difficulty.

JAPANESE VERSION INTRO CINEMATIC.

The original Japanese intro to AC3 appears if you complete
all 36 missions on the Hard difficulty.To activate,press
L1+R1+START all at the same time.

EXTRA AIRCRAFT/OSL.

Earning straight As for all 36 missions at Normal
difficulty,unlocks the UI-4054 Aurora and X49 Night
Raven.

Earning straight As for all 36 missions,at Hard
difficulty,unlocks the Orbital Laser Satellite
(OSL)

NOTE:The OSL can only be used in the Simulator mode
and not,repeat,not in the campaign mode.

Again,mission#36 GEOPELIA,only appears after you have
earned straight Bs or better in all pervious 35
missions.

I do know that most of us who have been playing AC3
for sometime,do know all these extras.This is intended
for any new comers to this game and want to know how
to unlock these extras
