 I've been too busy getting a degree (aka drinking, dancing and experimenting with microwaves) to post often  . And Of Mice and Men is so creepy, especially when Lennie goes (in the film version obv) "I like beans with ketchup!" x___xooh and if anyone else here likes marmite, mix some in with the cheese when you're making a pizza, and it tastes like twiglets.  -------------------  | |

Hey, I lurk. Just not often, and I wish I hadn't now you mention Of Mice and Men, if only because you just reminded me of my English Literature GCSE. Friggin' hell, that was painful. Reading Of Mice and Men was the highlight of that thing, which is just depressing.

Of Mice and Men was such a shit book, so was Lord of the Flies. Man, the books AQA GCSE English choose is crap.

I sort of liked Of Mice and Men and Lord of the Flies was good, but with a lot of purple prose. Didn't like the ending either.

I loved Lord of the Flies - its one of my favourite books. I think I was the only person of about 30 who actually enjoyed reading the book, though.
