If you don't stick with guitar you should sell it to me
I hate that I play bass a lot more now, because the amount of gear I want has essentially doubled. Not to mention the fact that I'm wanting a new keyboard/digital and a cello. And I want a drum kit again, but I don't have room for one of those, so it's a good excuse not to look into them. ------------------- Ron says:

Unless it's a 5 string and not actually a Thunderbird, I'll pass

Me neither and although I've taken a bit more interest in bass lately, I'd like to sell it to go towards my funds for a new guitar.

I was talking with the guitarist of Trap Them after their show, and he was looking to get rid of his Sunn 200S to get something that suits him better so I'm probably going to take it off his hands.
He was also running two HM-2s, one to each head. It was amazing to hear. ------------------- ![]()

quote BluAnimalI use Jazz IIIs, but it's really up to personal preference. Everyone sort of gravitates towards their own picks. Heavier picks seem to be geared more towards metal, where as lighter ones towards bluesy sounds, and the lightest reserved for acoustic. Dunlop tortex and gators seem to be popular, so are Fender Mediums. Just get a variety of sizes and see what you like best.

Just buy a bunch of different picks and see what you like. I use a few different picks now, simply because they're what's around, and I don't really mind much. As long as they're not paper thin or super fat I don't mind. Dunlop makes the best picks in my opinion, though. Tortex yellows and oranges are great.

Oh man its sphinx hey brother.
For my next major GAS project, I'm going to straight up build my own bass amp. Which reminds me I need to look up Sunn topographies. ------------------- B-E-A-D-G NeoIRC | Musician's Corner | Last.fm
