I'm not picky. I like cities and I like countryside both. I've lived in Phoenix which is HUGE, but it's rather one dimensional. All one story buildings painted the same color and absolutely no personality. But I've been to some metropolitan places and I love it. Good energy. Kinda hectic, but still good. I'm stoked

fair enough, that's what i love about london, it's all mixed up, there's a bit of everything ya know? and theres always something going on. Plus, all the cool old buildings and stuff (though do yourself a favour and don't bother visiting buckingham palace, it's *bleep*ing boring )

Haha, sounds good. It's quite a ways away so I'm trying not to get too stoked for it, but I'm excited. After my internship's up I think I'm gonna stay for a bit. Visit a few people from Neo who live in the country, then maybe head over to Ireland to see some friends there.

awesome idea, england/britain is a great place, lots of different places and different types of country, you should visit wales or scotland some time if you get a chance, i really want to do that some time soon, maybe in the summer before uni. if i'm in london though jan 2011 drop me a pm

I live in London. Harrow is where my Dad lives and that place is the nuts. It's mainly full of middle class people so the area is nice and quiet with some really up town houses. As for things to do, there's not all that much to crazy about if I'm honest but central london is only about 25 minutes on the tube so you're never far away.

MR, you not been to Scotland before at all? If you go, definitely go to Edinburgh as it's probably the only good part of Scotland. I was in Wales about 3 weeks ago, visiting the University (Swansea to be precise). I went with a couple of friends and we went the night before the open day and had one of the best nights of my life out on Wine Street.

But yeah, London ftw.

All this talk of university and travel makes me wish I had more money and spare time. I'd love to go back to uni and do an MA, or take a year off and travel or something, but I can't. Growing up sucks.
