I'm loving this game and have got as far as Gloomy Island managed to overcome the blue & white pirate creature in the Reformatory for Disturbing Children & released Globox's kids... Have also managed to get out using the walking shell and opened the gates with the switches etc

How do I get rid of the stomping bird and do I need to get into the tower over the broken bridge to proceed...How can I jump off the walking shell to control my movements..
