If it's in pause mode, nothing will work, however, itmight not work if your power lines are too long anyway or outputting too much power.

I make a power plant and run power lines from the plant to the building/zones but it still says no power when I click on the info button! I do the tutorial and it works fine, but whenever i do it on my own in the exact same way nothing happens
