Hi guys, need some help here. i couldnt find a castaway thread in PsP hence im posting here. i hope the gameplays are the same.

my question is, is it possible to demolish a cabin and rebuild a new one? as in when you upgrade, it is usually because ure headin over to a new island, abandone the old 1, but for my case, im at the 3rd island and ive establish myself on the volcano outlook with a cabin but now that i could build a compact bungalow, it says that ive build the max things allowed and i need to remove some in order to build more.
Ive even tried deleting the roof, walls, window, etc etc manually one by one but still got stucked with that message.
i could find a "demolish" option or anything related (mayb its hidden?) hence the manual removing part.

is this a glitch? does it only apply to psp castaway?
any kind of help or advice would be greatly appreciated
thanx and have a nice day guys

On a tree lol, you need to craft better tools to be able to see/harvest the hardwood.

guys, need help! dont know how to switch sims??? PSP;(
Hold down L2 and use D pad to select sim, you can only change to a sim that is in the same location, but you can use the shell to call your tribe to you

this is a well known glitch, its happened many times to me before, i use the PSP version. i reckon you need to get rid of /store all the items in the zone. especially the housing. if this doesn't work then its most likely the game, as you build the house (premade) this adds a set amount of space usage to the maximum space in the zone. noting the (simple?) engine in sims, the game thinks that the premade is still a normal premade. therefore keeping it at a set space usage, but the meter goes down. if getting rid of all the items doesn't work. its probably something they left in the game engine that's impossible to fix. (putting things in your inventory seems to do nothing to room space. so you might need to delete everything)

If the PSP version is like the PS2 version, you might not have enough room at your location to build a bungalow. I had to try several different locations before I was allowed to build one. I ended up building it on one of the river plains on the 2nd island. Just because you're on the 3rd island, it doesn't mean you have to build there.

I've had similar problems with it, so i guess its a glitch with both versions of the game. But you could ask around the PSp forum, they may have some advice.

Demolishing buildings sometimes doesn't go to plan on the PS2 version either. I tried to remove a few misplaced walls so I could re-design my bungalow on Pier Beach, but the remove tool option refused to do anything.
