i want to buy a cow, so i go to the animal shop, and select cow, but the shopkeeper wont sell it to me because "hold on i cant sell you a cow.you dont have enough grass planted.please come back when you plant more grass."
i plant LOADS of grass, and use the sickle to harvest it so it goes to the siloh, (40 pieces of fodder)
i dont know what to do! any suggestions/ideas are welcome!

I planted 4 grass in 4 3X3 hoed ground and able to bought a cow.

plant alot of grass then cut all of it with your sickle. I think you need 25 cut peices before you buy a cow.
