Which speed mod is better for you? x1.5 or x2?
Personally I use x2 in most songs, now in really low BPM songs I do use x3, but they are only a few of those in DDR games.

I find it's relative to what the song is.
e.g.
Bag x5 (lol)
Move your Feet x3
V (For EXTREME) x2
Drop Out x1.5
LoM x1

x2. even on LoM.

I've been playing for a couple of years now. I have all the PS2 ones. I barely ever play Konamix anymore.

Ah I see, I only recently started playing DDR on my PS2. And I've been using the speed option since then.

so you guys don't use the "speed" option. I don't believe I can play the game without it, it's hard to hit slow moving arrows for me...
The game I started out on, (Konamix) kind of had a crappy speed option. I never used it. So I just learned to play without it. When I was playing online on SuperNOVA lots of people asked where the speed option was.

No, I don't usually use it. That's how I learned to play, so....

Wow, these forums are dead. x_x

Anyway, it really depends on the song. I usually don't use the speed features unless the song is really slow.

I prefer to leave it at normal speed. I suck at the fast ones.

For really slow ones like Bag, though, I turn it up to 1.5. If it's too stretched out, it's confusing to tell which beat the arrow is supposed to be on.
