That's right, there's actually something been released about this game. I know it was posted in the "relese date" thread, but I think frankly any snippet of information about this multi-time Vapourware winner deserves its own thread.

No in game footage, but you do get some glimpses of possible aliens.

Naturally anything was done back in 1997 on this game is probably resigned to 100 MB hard drives somewhere deep in 3D Realms HQ never to be seen.

Nevertheless, perhaps we will, one day, see this game.

I remember playing Duke Nukem II on my school computers after school before my parents picked me up from school. I hope some of the old cheatcodes will work with this game...

Duke Nukem 3D was awesome!

I remember how 3D had made a pact with ID for the Quake 2 engine, then the Unreal 1 engine.. Oh..

Let's hope it'll be out as soon as possible..

Okay, in all seriousness, seeing how I was one of the, well, two members that frequented the PS2 forum for this game in the past couple years or so, I just had to come here where there was actual discussion on this news and mark out for watching this trailer. After all of this wait, this had better be the greatest FPS in the history of the universe. Okay, that is all. The Omega - out.

The first great LOL of the day came when yesterday in fact when I heard that Duke Nukem Forever (a) was still in production and (b) was releasing a trailer. The second came from seeing DM promoted to the place.
The third? "I'm looking for some alien toilet to park my bricks".

I will have the giggles now until the new year...

Oh, I stand corrected. Well there's no footage of Duke going around blowing everything up is what I meant, that's what we all want to see.

It's not like I was doubting the graphics or anything. The time when something that looked that good graphically was just a cut-scene is behind us now.

Apparently a recent Forever image was included in a job advertisement not long ago, but maybe this trailer means the game is actually solidly (solidly for the amount of time it's been in development anyway) underway now.

Of course I'm not expecting anything much yet, only time will tell.

According to George Broussard the teaser was IN GAME FOOTAGE.

I loved duke3d, when I played it is must not have even been 10!
