i wouldnt say scary, nuthin really made me shit myself, but i did get a fair amount of chills, and the stuff with the girl and the skeltens made me jump.
i heard the pc one is alot more scary

Doom 3 would have been very good if it wasn't so "Can't see shit captain!" Making a dark atmosphere is one thing, but making it too dark is ridiculous. Thank god for duct tape mod, lol.

F.E.A.R isnt a scary game at all. theres is just a couple jumpy arts but its a gr8 shooter/action. if ur scared of this game just look on youtube n look for the lvl ur on n watch it (search Disgracefool he has very good fear lvl videos n he has the all!!) n look 4 the scary parts so ull be perpared. but overall, its not scary its just jumpy n gorey.

A few things made me jump. Like a part where Alma jumps out at you while climbing a ladder. Most of the jumpiness came from Alma moments, but as the game went on, those got fewer and fewer. It seemed as though the game forgot it was a horror title after a few hours.

I was looking forward to more scary things in it when I played, but when I found that I wasn't scared, the story was what I was really looking forward too.

The game had a cool story, and great shooter aspects (that slow down time, or....you speeding up thing was awesome), but it just didn't scare me. It just made me jump, and thats not the same thing as being scared. Not that it depressed me, the game is still in my top 20 games list (somewhere around number 10)

F.E.A.R files had more jumpy parts for me....even though most people think the expansions suck. I hate those invisible things....

Not really. What was so scary? I played through, nothing fazed me much. Unless Alma is the one scaring you, I dont find anything scary.
