The demo is out on Xbox Live, I was thinking about getting it but im not so sure. I dont like how there is a massive amount of monsters that will fight you at one time, but none of them know how to fight period. The enemy AI is really crappy which is turning me away from this game.

i really like this game!
i know alot of people say its just a simple hack and slash and its boring it basicly is lol
its really fun in multiplayer with close mates though
i stick some good music on, chat to mates, and play this all together... dosnt make it so bad ^^

Yeh this thread hasn't been posted on in a long time, but some random guy I met gave me this game, as he was trying to sell it to GAME and they didn't want it. I played it, and it's boring. It's good for the first half hour, and I was starting to doubt that it gets any more fun...

ya, i haven;t touched multi player either, dosen't seem like it will change how awful the game is.
Really, the 10 second cutscene is awful, you get no freakin story about your character, they just throw you into the forest of embrace. All your characters all do the same thing! Go through dungeons, and then fight enclablossa at the end. VERY BORING!
No towns, no people, just idols and EXTREMELY WEAK monsters.
I was really dissapointed with my second character (Leinhart) when i beat the forest boss, got a 27 att dual katana type of weapon with a HUGE SP recovery time and a 30+ SP Recovrey Shuriken type weapon with level three rupture skill which COMPLETELY made the next two dungeons sooo simple.
The stories really aren't so good either. I was REALLY Dissapointed with Celines end scene. You literally went to hell (Well, the dark dimension) and back and you get a 10-20 second cutscene of Celine hugging Curian! AWFUL!
This game REALLY discourages me from buying the rest of trilogy (I think it was a trilogy, well right now it is).
And ya, I know after not caring about a freakin darkness dimension and weird looking idols and a freaking magical plant that smacks you around. But the fact that you can take on 50+ Monsters at a time and not get a scratch on you is REALLY Bad. At least in Dynasty Warriors you get hit every once in awhile. With Leinhart, I give him two Ninja swords (those swords that look like big daggers and have no sheath) and hes tearing up the battlefield, flying through the air not leaving time for the flame shaman to burn em.
Really Horrible in some ways, but if you like REALLY easy games, be my guess and buy away.
This was my first game for XBOX360 and im pretty dissapointed about it, my second was Fable 2 which wasen't so good at all, but then i got soul calibur 4 and it made me feel a bit better!

First impressions was excellent, but after going through the story mode 3 times on all difficulty levels with the same character, same storyline, same monsters, same cutscenes, etc etc, it kinda puts me off a little. I think the developers could have done a lot more with this game - could have been a sell-out IMO. Would recommend renting it, I think a rental period would be okay, as there are some decent ideas in here, they just weren't taken far enough. Damn you, game wall

i changed my mind after playing through the demo a couple more times, i decided not to even rent it. i too thought it would get better but it didnt.
luckily they are making a true KUF game for 360 sometime this year so im waiting for that.

i played it for about an hour then got a headache! its a bit like dynasty warriors it goes on and on. there is to many of the same look alike creatures i found this game BORING!!! i rate it 6/10

I think its a great game, I also believe the demo wasn't the best advert for the game, they should have give people the 2nd map, the desert one, its much more open and you feel like you have freedom to travel around a bit more, I felt a bit confined and on rails on the forest map.
Anyhow, if you like, diablo, dynasty warriors, 99 nights, dungeon siege, generally collecting better gear and levelling up, its a top game once you get into it.
I still haven't touched the multiplayer side of it yet, I'm still trying to persuade my mates to buy it.
