No, what makes you think the left one will survive the hueg onslaught of liek 10 enemies? He will either die/get low on health. And if he's low on health, you can't send Lachesis into combat, or else the paladin will go in too, and eventually die.

The only "cool item" she gets is earthsword. Everything else is better for everyone else. Why? Because of passing down. Your Nanna will seriously suck to hell. And that's bad, since she's a healer.

Oh and I forgot to add this in:

The NPC units? You can easily get to them within a few turns. Make sure ALL your horseback units are high leveled/promoted, Ethlin is promoted and has decent stats, and get her and the other knights up there quickly. Have Sigurd recruit Lachesis, BAM. Done deal; have her heal the units.

Ok, now I just started this game a few months ago. BUT in all three playthroughs, Lachesis has ALWAYS been one of my better units.

20 exp from the arena? Then you must truly suck at this game. Two words; boss abuse. Unless you REALLY care about the rankings (which I don't), get someone like Beowulf or even Fin who CANNOT kill Macbeth in two or three goes (don't attack him on your turn phrase), have Lachesis heal said unit, and rinse, lather, repeat. Simple and easy. Oh and guess what after that? she'll be at a decent enough level and can demolish everyone in her sight.

So no, Lachesis does NOT suck. Only those who don't know how to use her suck.

Anyway, EtS, when the green units start being attacked by the red ones, on that same turn, you should have your blue units just about to jump in, because they are close enough.

You just need Sigurd there to recruit Lachesis, then she can heal the injured green knight. Then you have your other blue units there that help out.

You're providing useless words.

Lachesis has low health, low defense, low attack, and average speed. She's getting killed in 2 hits. This means, she can only kill 1 arena person, netting her 20 experience. Since she also fails at normal combat, the max levels she could get is probably 3 each chapter. No way in hell Lachesis is good.

It's possible, but it's almost impossible. Stop saying stuff like "you thought it was too hard, it's not hard, it's easy blah blah blah". Yeah, shut the hell up about that.

You're making it sound like something extremely difficult, and impossible.

But, you are wrong. It is easy enough, if you are quick enough. It is not a hard task. You probably just thought it was too hard since you experienced some trouble, but the rest of us found it manageable, so it is do-able, okay? You CAN do it. If it was impossible, they wouldn't of programmed in that if all of them are okay then you get and item.

Just because Sigurd's the best with it, doesn't mean it's his advantage. People can use it, why can't you just see that? But if you want it your way...

The earth sword is best with anyone else, because Lachesis fails so hard unpromoted she doesn't need it.

What the hell are you talking about? You're saying Levin's busy attacking, and then you say Lachesis, when she's not attacking (according to you, she's one of the best units, so she should be attacking), she should be healing. You bitch, trying to favoritize Lachesis.

Ok, we have Aideen, Claude, Fury and Levin. 4 units, no need for suck Lachesis.

YES, it is hard to get 1 paladin not to die *usually to the left*. Why? Because

1) There's a mob coming their way, and your group can't reach them before the enemies, even Sigurd.

2) Lachesis is too suck, she stays in her castle and doesn't heal her soldiers.

3)Paladins tend to attacking, giving them more damage.

Even Eaichu, one of the best FE4 guides agrees with me.

Except Tiltyu is fail. In fact, Tiltyu is almost as bad as Arden, because of extremely low level and durability.

By the way, Lachesis vs. 1 enemy is not "can hold her own". 4-5 enemies attack Lachesis, and she dies. She can't dodge, and has really fail hp/def. However, 4-5 enemies attack Noish. Noish will survive.

I realize that Sigurd's Silver Sword can be moved around. Does that mean that I will? No. Why? Cause it's so dang awesome on Sigurd and Celice could use the extra kills from it. Criticaling in Chapter 6 is much better than not criticaling.
And Levin's not going to be healing. Ever. He is too busy killinating everything in his path with Holsety, and failing that, Elwind. I can't imagine him ever healing in any of my previous playthroughs. I have four (five w/ Tiltyu, but that IS favoritism) other people perfectly capable, even better at healing than Levin.
Aideen - Gets the Libro stave, long range. Also, Relive Stave.
Claude - Just the best healer in first half (Good thing, all he's good for)
Fury - Flyer with a Live Stave
Lachesis - When not needed to attack, she's on a horse with a Recover Stave.
I'll admit, it takes a little work to promote Lachesis. but it isn't nearly as much as you're trying to make it out to be. It is not nearly as difficult as you seem to think to have the three paladins in chapter two survive AND get Lachesis some levels. She has an A in Swords, so that helps get her some powerful weapons to do some killing. She's not nearly as hard as Tiltyu. The thing is, I really like them both, and I always feel that I must raise everyone (well, not always. Beowulf's gotten the shaft)
Granted, Lachesis is nowhere nears what Levin, Lex, and Ayra are at. But she's not Ardan either. She can hold her own. Yes, even before promotion.
