Ah, you are right about where I am too. I started disk 4, did a bit of the story line, and am now wandering around fighting optional bosses. I think my highest character is Kaim at 43, my lowest is Cooke at 40. This game forced me to not just use a core group of ass kickers by splitting the parties up often enough that it made me keep everyone up on their game.
I need to find an Absorb Magic and Absorb Damage accessory. Persona is really kicking my butt. I fought her for almost a half an hour last night just to have her unleash unholy hell all over my party once I got her down to almost nothing. I was not happy.

Well I'm definitely a fan of the old-school RPG genre; I hate that the newest FF games are all online-only now. I don't play games online because I don't want to get hacked and trash-talked by a bunch of 12 year olds. I know I suck; I don't need some little junior-high punk telling me what I already know.
FF6 for me is as good as it gets. I still have my old SNES and occasionally dust it off just so I can play some FF6 (speaking of, it's been a while since I've played it again...).
I started Disc 4 of LO tonight, so I'm winding the game down now. Still a while before I beat it, though: my characters are all around Level 40, and I want to max them out with levels and skills before the final battle.

It's defo an old school turn based RPG. Nice to see that not everyone jumped ship on the genre just because the FF series did and are still making good games.
I went back to the Sorceress' Mansion to fight the optional boss there and got my ass handed to me. I wasn't appropriately decked out, so will have to go back.

I had to take my PC to the shop last week, so I stopped by Gamestop to see if there were any good games for the 360 that could keep me entertained while I had no PC. The guy there told me about LO. I didn't know a lot about it before then, but I figured I haven't played a good RPG in a long time.
Anyway, I started playing it Wednesday night last week and haven't stopped. I now have my PC back, but I've been largely ignoring it in favor of the 360 and LO. I just started Disc 3 tonight, but I'm totally hooked right now. This game may even end up unseating Final Fantasy 6 as my favorite RPG (though of course I'm only halfway through LO at this point).

If it's a tiny scratch, you could probably buff it out. There's the toothpaste trick (and probably many other DIY ones you could find online), which would easily be the cheapest and most convenient option.
I need to get back into playing this at some point. I bought the DLC a while back, but have barely touched the game since as I've been preoccupied with other games.

Do you know what sucks right now, LO Disc 1 has the tiniest scratch on it and it wont play or install to the HD

Yeah - it's been a bit tedious. Trudging through the snow with Cooke as my main character was just like "Oh god, please RUN". XD I got to the save point right before Jansen and Ming find them though before going to bed, so at least I am moving on to the dumb Black Cave. XD Better than dealing with five different plot lines going on at once.

No, I sold my 360 in late September. I got $175 for it which is pretty nice. Good deal for them too though since it was a console w/ 120 GB HD. I did that because I'm going to buy the Modern Warfare 2 bundle that comes out next month. You get the system with a 250 GB HD, MW2 game, two black controllers, and a black headset all for $400. Its too good of a deal to pass up. Just sucks since I'm stuck with my PS3 right now and the only game I've played is WET. Was fun though.
Ewww I hate that part of LO though. Probably my least favorite in the game when you have to treck through the snow with the humans. Just a tedious and uneventual part. Even going through the Black Cave that follows is dumb.

Where's your 360? RRoD?
I just got to the part where Mack and the little girl take the train to try to see Lirum and the others have to split up to either get them or go to the meeting with the kings. I got as far as Seth and Tolten in Uhra before having to save it and go watch the Venture Bros season premiere. XD

I dont have a 360 right now, but I STILL need to finish off the final parts of this game so I can get my final achievement; Treasure Trove.
It's just that I have to go through the Temple of Enlightenment and that place is a bitch.
