Easy way to beat King Dedede is to get the rock ability and fly up when he jumps (make sure you are out of his reach) and then smash him with the rock ability when he hits the ground.
NOTE: this will take a LONG time to do, but it is the easiest way.

Did you know when you beet the game 100% you unlock extra mode? i did it! and it's considderably hard...

Just keep jumping and dodging the nightmare (vampire) and hit him with the star rod. Try many different combos and attacks. I find the jump spin works best. Get him from underneath. You cant hurt him when its got the cape wrapped around.
