in my opinion, this game was kinda a disappointment. if you've played anything in the god of war series, this game was probably very non-challenging. I literately beat the game, the same day I got it. I for one wish it was longer. the only thing different, really, was the weapons & story. I was kinda hoping for something totally different, but still relative to the God Of War series. Its still a good game, but is it worth $40 dollars?

I've played all of the God of War games (exept part 3) and I'm a huge fanatic of greek mythology and I must say this game is one of the best games on the psp console. I do agree that the game is a bit short, but its quite challenging on god mode and it adds to the reason why Kratos hate the Olympians so much. And if nebody here reads the books on greek mythology, adding Kratos spices these stories a lot, and being puertorican I do love some spice lol. I thank sony and ready at dawn studios for such an amazing game. Kratos rules.

Well, I was not disappointed with this game, ( I have also never played any other gow games before) I like this game a lot, it was a little short though. But it had amazing graphics in my opinion, I'd give this game a 4.5/5.

Just as a mixed response, yes TR:anniversary is amazing. However, C. was new and made for PSP. TR was a remake with tweaks, so it was an old game for anybody over about 18. Both games are great, but C. is more fun

I keep hearing all this talk about how God of War: Chains of Olympus is not long enough, but the graphics and game play are terrific, both of which is true. Well, I was amazed by the game Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Not as much fighting as GOW, but the environments are amazing, the puzzles are much more difficult than GOW but a much better payoff once you figure them out, and the length of the game is much longer, I think it took me 42 hours of play time to beat it. Just wanted to throw that at there. If you enjoy GOW, I bet you would be impressed and like playing Anniversary.

Care to elaborate? Cause I'm having a hard time understanding. Are you talking about the third game or something else?
Also 8+ hours isn't that short, iirc it's nearly the same as the PS2 ones. On average those game plays was 9 1/2 hours according to the devs. I had over 10 hours on mine.

Well its draining alot of the power, and the Disc medium cannot store alot more to make the gameplay. I remember hearing they were going to use the PSP to its Maximum which includes Graphics, Sound, Gameplay and power. All that on the hardware and disc space lowers any chance for more playtime hours.
