Just saw an advance screening at the TV Academy tonight and all I'm gonna say is that my heart was racing the entire film and I feel sorry for the poor people sitting next to me cause I was screaming and gasping throughout. The scenes of the deserted NYC have to be seen to be believed. Will Smith is back in action mode and pulls it off effortlessly. This movie was a great ride with tons of scares, terrific special effects, great pacing. Cameo by Emma Thompson is truly amusing. Recently saw the old Vincent Price version on TV and this version simply blows it out of the water. Kudos to all involved. A terrific thriller.

The alternate ending is much better,

The alpha dark seeker which you see, is angry and just wants his wife or girlfriend back which will took to experiment on. He smudges a butterfly on the screen, which makes will "listen " to god or remember the butterfly tattoo on her shoulder, he weels her out, injects her so she becomes a dark seeker again, the alpha male takes his "wife" and will and the girl and the lil boy drive to the safe zone, it's a much better ending.

This was a great movie until the end when he kills himself he should have just thrown the grenade and went in the chamber but it still was a great movie

This movie is one of my all time favorites. I love the scene with Mustang.

I see an I am Legend II in the future (hopefully)!
