For those that have bought this game, you'll notice the game is always sealed on the side with a sticker and if you try to remove it, it will almost always partially tear off the cover art. Well I had read this a while back but a way to hugely minimize the chances of that happening are to take a blowdrier and blow hot air all over the sticker. I bought a used copy of this at Gamestop for $5.99 and this method worked. However on the front part there is a tiny little tear on Link and there's a bit of sticker residue but that could be because I didn't blowdry it enough. I cannot guarantee 100% on this but it will greatly help.

Ok. But I didnt rip any paper off the cover, and I didnt use your tech.
But nice info for collectors or anyone who likes intact covers.
How did you manage not to rip the cover?
