Are you sure he's dead? The wiki for Perfect Prosecutor says that it takes place around the time of Trials and Tribulations- meaning that if he's still alive in Apollo Justice (which is years later in the storyline) he has to still be alive in this one... although, he still might not make an appearance, but I doubt they'd punish us like that.
I'd sure like to see that screen shot...
Pheonix isn't going to be in it, check out the website, its got the list of all the characters plus info on them!

It was in a thread on this forum. I even posted too point out his location. Basically on the screen shot Edgesworth is standing by a bin, and by the side of the bin is Phoenixs' corpse. Ill try too find it.
