It seems to me that Dirna is far stronger than Ethereal Queen. Any of you know how to beat her the easiest and quickest way, again without cheating. I'm talking about LEVEL 99 Dirna.

you can use the tome of alchemy i believe...one of the tomes to turn all the demi shadows into crystals...sometimes you can hit all three with one crystal...make sure dirna is in the group when using it...or it will not work...also be warned that it doesnt always work...it's kinda unpredictable...but it will work instantly when it does work...

Definitely fun to abuse the Perfect Release system. The last thing i ever did was set up Dylan to one hit kill Dirna at 7,000,000 damage. Put up a video on youtube then packed away the game and moved onto Xenosaga 3.

man, i don't know how you have the dedication to play through that many times. i lost complete interest after a couple times through sg and started a new game with new people a few months later when i felt like playing again. getting the angel slayer just isn't worth fighting the same people over and over again that much.

I'm on 7th run on Seraphic Gate with my party & good sealstone with me fighting Dirna is really easy for me. this is without P.R.E. Party: Freya, Hrist, Brahms, & Lenneth I haven't use all my Tome of Alchemy yet I'll use it on my 8th. run. This set-up is really perfect for me.
Freya - Attacker Hrist - Attacker + Combination Brahms - Attacker + Dammage Taker (Tanker since he had more HP than anyone in my party) Lenneth - Attacker + Supporter
Pary Sealstone: Yggdrasil Blessing Six Elements Blessing Lifeforce Blessing Sword Blessing Enemy Sealstone: Sheathed Power Wrath

it looks like you might dish out a decent amount of damage but based on what equipment and sealstones you have equipped it looks like just a few explosions is all it would take to knock you out.

no offense but reading others strategies makes me laugh. i thought my strategy was weak guess it was the best.
on my first run, i hunted for a decent quantity of soothsayer bows,tyrfing,and the armors that you can get from the mini bosses.
my sealstones are: Sharp Sword Law Sword Blessing Desperate Soldier Law Yggdrasil Blessing (restored it on my first SG run)
as you can see everything boosts atk pow right?
my characters are: Freya Dylan Falx Rufus
I will only cite the Weapons and Accessories that i used since armors are of no use in this kind of strategy.
Freya, All green runes equip that boosts atk and SC dmg Skills: Triple Edge, Magician Slayer, Fist of Iron Attacks : Victory Sword, Heavenly Punishment
Falx 1 HP, 3 power bangles, dragon rib Weapon : tyrfing Skills: magician slayer, fist of iron, god destroyers Attacks : Dreaded Radius
Dylan 1 HP : dragon rib, stone cutting pincers, great eagle heart and a green rune for boosting SC damage. Weapon : Tyrfing Skills : magician slayer, fist of iron, free item, true seeing Attacks : Full Swing
Rufus : green rune acc that boosts atk and SC damage Weapon : Soothsayer Bow Skills : Triple edge, fist of iron, spirit control Attacks : Killing Thorn, Thunder Fall, Aiming Wisp
Its up to you to make up the combo.
Its also a matter of chance if u see an opening to dash in between the demishadows to get to dirna back. then the combo ( if u find out ) after that free item with dylan use charge break. and oh yeah a matter of chance again wish she wont use explosion

Some more research on the subject.
Dirna is Divine and Magician, but for whatever reason, Magician Slayer works far better than God Destroyer.
My strategy, is not quite ready yet, due to life issues, but I'll have it soon.
And yes, to confirm, Tome of Alchemy does work, but I have my party levelled up to max. I wil be posting how I've levelled them all up, and that's through the Tower of Lezard Valeth.

i dont think DA will work on dirna..even tried placing God destroyer (since she's divine) still aint working..she's maybe one of those people that youll just have to beat to a pulp =P
