The PS2 Controller doesn't have an enter button.
It's most likely b-Man meanted to say to press enter on the Keyboard instead of Controller.

On the keyboard, I know the following - (Type in the words in bold exactly how I do)

cheese steak jimmy's (1000 food)
lumberjack (1000 wood)
robin hood (1000 gold)
rock on (1000 stone)
i love the monkey head (really fast naked guy)
how do you turn this on (cool car with machine guns)
marco (see the entire map explored)
polo (see everywhere you explored as if you are seeing it right now)
aegis (all armies get to build, make units and stuff instantly)
natural wonders (you get to control all the wild animals in the map, but you can't control your army anymore)
i r winner (you win the game if it's in conquest)

In the middle of a battle, just press enter as if you're going to chat and type these things up. Exactly the way I just typed them, only without the boldness. In multiplayer, cheats must be activated, though, but in single player, they're automatically activated.

That's all I know, though. There are more.
