OOC: I had a good idea for a PSU fanfic but didnt know where to post it, I decided that with the lack of a general forum I would ost it here.


Chapter One
The Beginning


As far as I knew today would be just like any other day, little did I know that later today my life would change forever. When I woke up I got dressed and went to the kitchen for something to eat, I got myself a bowl of cereal and sat down to the dinning room table to eat. After I had had my breakfast I took a shower. When I was dried off I call a few of my friends, most of them were busy, only one of them wasn't. I met her at the entrance to a walking trail which led to a smaller path that leads to a swimming pond. People rarely swam in that pond so it was nice and quiet there, that's why we liked it. After about 10-15 minutes of walking we made it to the pond. As expected there was no one else there, however there was an eerie mist hovering over the top of the pond. It was odd because it was sunny everywhere else. We decided to go swimming anyway and proceeded towards the pond, that's when the weirdest event I have ever witnessed took place. A huge vortex appeared right in front of us, we were too scared to move and just kept starting at it. Suddenly two creatures jumped out of the vortex and started coming towards us. We turned and ran, but the creatures were fast and caught up with us quickly. I pushed Cassandra out of the way and yelled
"Run, I'll be fine!"
She looked hesitant but with a tearful face backed away far enough that she was safe. I tried to fight the creatures off me but they were too strong. I had never seen anything like them before, they were mostly purple and black and their heads were rather shark-like, the weirdest thing about them was that sections of their bodies had nothing there only what looked like blue plasma with blue electrical bolts flowing through it. As they dragged me toward the portal I gave up trying to break free, they were much too strong.
"Tyler!!!" Cassandra said with tears in her eyes.
"I-I'll be ok." I said back to her just as the creatures dragged me through the vortex.
