I like that with her 2 weapons she has kind of short range horizontal attacks combined with long range vertical particularly.

I actually felt curious about using her long before the game came out, and it has been interesting, though I reckon that while the range of her spear is satisfactory, her sword leaves too much to wish for, even though you'd think is a sword the type of Sophitia or Cassandra uses, this one has a considerable shorter range, in contrast with her spear, though it is good for tight situations I guess. She is quite flexible, though not as fast as she looks and a little bit too repetitive... but its the closest thing we have not the defunct Spear user class from SCIII.
I like her throws and critical finish, impalement's cool

She's one of my primaries...though falling short.
I've practiced and practiced with her, but I just find that she's not as good as I want her to be: -She isn't as quick as you'd think -Her long range attacks are mostly slow and obvious -Her short range is really short, and mostly not fast -Charge moves have good potential, but the vertical ones are easily spotted
Hell, maybe I'M not as good with Hilde as I want MYSELF to be. Any suggestions?

I liked her a lot as well. The short/long combination was a draw at first, but in the end I found myself leaning more on her long range spear attacks. Because of that, it makes more sense for me to take Kilik or someone who focuses on long range. That said I do like her skill set a lot and I'll certainly use/clone her.

I haven't really played around with her yet. My friend uses her from time to time though. She seems very linear, but she's pretty fast, and probably very good in the right hands.
I tend to use a single character exclusively until I'm very comfortable with them before trying others, so it'll be a while before I hit Hilde.

I tried her out the other day, and to my surprise she was quite easy to use...although I tended to lean more toward the vertical with her. She was so cool that I decided to make a custom character of her
