I think so. It has a better feel to the controls and fighting. In academy when you fight with lightsabres its like your sabres is hollow, in outcast it feels like its more heavy and the clashing feels awesome
The only thing I prefer on academy is the other sabres, melee, more character, vehicles, well, basicly everything except the gameplay

jk2 if your playing 1.02 version
where when you do dbs + bs you can contorl it, like turn move.. yeah if u play ull know wu ti mean
however if ur playing 1.04 ima say jka bcuz basically exact same gameplay except Jka has combos like Kata

Academy has the exact same combat system. No changes, save for the addition of saber stances due to being able to hold two sabers, or the saber-staff. It's just that Academy just sucks, plotwise in general, so people tend to lean toward JK3, which actually resembled the damned Star Wars universe.

I agree. I've only seen a bit of academy combat, but it seemed more like they were whacking each other with thin sticks than slicing them with lightsabers. The running seemed too robotic as well, it was smoother on JK2.
