I'm to the point in the game where I'm fighting the Diez Gentlemen, and whenever I steal their special items, like the Dumbell, or Goro's Primal Meat, there's a Specialist that says something like "Secret Specialist" or "Medium Rare"

What the heck does that mean and what do they do?

Also another question. How do you get those specialists that boost Exp? What's the process?

As I said, you CANNOT remove those specialists off the item.

Any specialist that has that weird, orangey smiley face is as immovable as a rock.

Apparently the effect is 'normal attack heals'. So I'm guessing you can use this specialist to heal allies. Either that, or it heals the user. I'm not sure, the description is vague. Test it out.

Question on specialists in special items. I found a Baked Potato that has a Glutton in it. Does anyone know what a Glutton is and how to get it out of the item?

They all have useful effects. However, they cannot be moved. Look up a D3 table of specialists for more details.

To get Staticians (that would be the EXP boosting ones), you need to reverse-pirate them (kill/capture them in the item world, after killing a pirate crew to get their ship). You can only reverse-pirate every 20th level of an item.
