So is there any neoseekers who still play Team Fortress 2 online?
Hell, does anyone even play this game online anymore? As i am gettin the game hopefully this week and would like to know if anyone still plays it online.
I'm really enthusiastic about playing online, so hopefully some people still do?

...not to mention all the money it takes just to make games compatible with a PC are ridiculous.

i can agree alot with what you say. i just wouldnt go out of my way to play one game on the pc when xbox live has such a strong and friendly community to support all these titles. i understand there are alot more people and more maps and what not and thats where it kind of sucks to have to play it on a console, because no matter what it will be a different experience from the PC. i just really like the fact say if i wanna play TF2 on my xbox i can talk to other buddies playing other games and what not. There is just nothing about the PC that keeps people together because it holds such a large population. however RTS games i much prefer on the PC, Age of Empires, Age of Mythology, all those games are absolutely wonderful and then you get ones like the C&C games for the xbox and everything seems so limited and all around turns boring pretty quick

While that might be true to an extent Dalton, you have to remember that the biggest selling point for any online-only game ultimately is player count. There are far more players on PC than on Xbox Live playing Team Fortress 2 and ultimately that makes for a better experience, as there is a bigger range of servers and maps to play. PC is still the forefront for online-only gaming, and I believe it still will be for quite a while.

As for finding games more fun to play with a TV and controller, you can still do so with a PC connected to a TV (like Gabe Newell actually does). You can also configure a controller to work with your games (albeit, not nearly as intuitively as with a console native game). I agree that console gaming is easier and accessible, but the strength in PC gaming is that it's far more customisable, and if you take a little time tweaking and configuring things, I believe for multi-platform games like this anyway, the payoff is well worth it.

Keyboard and mouse is easily the superior choice for FPS though. No doubt about that.

you know everyone tells me how much better games are one the pc. but honestly i just find games much funner to play on a tv instead of a damn monitor, not to mention a controller, and seriously xbox live is consuming so many lives that you might as well call PC gameplay dated. yeah PCs are a more convinient source of gameplay, but console gaming just makes everything easier and more accessible. If someone steps onto xbox live, chances are they won't consider playing one game on a PC, just because its supposedly better on it.

Of course it is Ameer, but unfortunately I personally can't afford a decent PC right now...

PC version is the superior choice. If you can, play it on PC.............much better than on console.

Don't worry, it's coming, check out the Team Fortress 2 website (just google "team fortress" and click the first one) for details as to why it's taking so long
