This problem has been giving me a huge headache! My computer specs are all supposedly good enough to run sins but when I run it, it completely shuts down my computer after about 5-10 minutes; just turns off the power. I have no idea what's wrong or how to fix it...also, itunes visualizer causes the same problem if that provieds any hints.
Thanks in advance!

If you aren't getting a response from the game, make sure that you are meeting the minimum requirements for Sins of a Solar Empire. They are as follows:
* Windows XP SP2/Vista * 2.8 GHz Processor * 1 GB RAM (2 GB for Vista) * 256 MB DirectX 9 * 3D Video Card * 1.6 GB hard disk space * DirectX 9.0c or higher * Broadband Connection for Internet Multiplayer

Have you ran our anti-virus to check for threats, trojans or viruses that could have infected your PC?
Unfortunately there are many problems that could cause this and it might not be the game itself. Try shutting down some of the background programs that you may have running such as Itunes, messenger etc.
