I bought this game a day or two ago and beat it before starting on Wi-Fi. The only mode I can ever seem to find opponents on is the Rank matches, but that's to be expected.

I'm having a bit of trouble increasing my rank, though. I tend to go on a winning streak up to about 300-500 points before being dragged back down to zero by some particularly skilled player or players. The thing is that every one of them sem to be in the habit of launching an upwards combo attack, then keeping a steady barrage in midair where it's impossible to get a guard in. Inavoidable attacks are a basic in most every fighter, but it's a bit over-the-top when it doesn't cost the player anything. (In this case, Spiritual Power/Pressure)

It's been rather obnoxious thus far, but the only conclusion I've come to as to why I keep falling victim to it is that, apparently, I suck too much to pull it off myself. So, I'm wondering if any of you have any tips on how to pull this off or how to better counter it? (I'm guarding as much as possible as is.)

Also... if anyone would be willing to answer this (assuming it's not a problem with my copy of the game), why does Wi-Fi SP score drop back down to 0 every time you play it? Do you have to raise yourself a seat in order to save the results?

There's no such thing as the 'best' in any one game, and I can't stand tiers for that reason. I might actually take this to heart if you'd bothered typing even a fraction of it in proper English. If you can't answer my question with an ounce of dignity, I'd appreciate it if you didn't answer it at all.

there is like like a 2000 point penalty if u turn ur game off during wifi

and if ur that low then the ppl ur getting beat by aren't skilled at all, you can only play ppl that are around ur SP which is why u'll never see an increase of more than 300 points in a single battle

the more skilled players on ranking mode are at captain class which is like 30,000 points, when u make it to like 10000 u should notice a huge difference in skill level of players as it seems to get harder since u fight ppl that are around ur level

also if ur using cards or ur opponent is using cards for one is scrubby and 2 there is nothing u can do about it since cards break the game

but tipically the higher level sp ppl will still beat any card user wit automatic

also gaurding alot will get u destroyed, u won't have to worry about infintes and such if YOU are the one doing the attacking

bankai trainning teaches u everything u'll need to kno after that its up to u to create ur own combo

go to youtube and watch vids

also using shunpo effectively is a must without it u'll be destroyed

ppl with infintes that there is nothing u can do about is that kurosotchi guy, ichigo, and that black guy( i kno his name but lolol)

top tier would be Renji and uryuu, go with uryuu because his combos and flsash step is what makes him one of the best in the game.... maybe the exact best in the game since he can avoid infintes with his god like shunpo
