I'm on Chapter 8. After escorting Mila from the roof to Rosa's room, I go to the back room and look at the 2 photos on the wall. Then I go back to the door. When I tap the door icon, Kyle says "I'm getting tired of waiting" Then the screen just goes back to the map of the room.
I've looked at more than one walkthrough, even re-done the whole chapter twice. (Which is painstaking with Iris's blah blah about her life story LOL) According to all the walkthroughs I have not missed anything, and they say there should be a conversation after I try to leave the back room.
Is it possible that my game has a glitch? Is there any way to fix it? I did buy the game new. Should I try to return it??
This is going to drive me crazy, if I have put all this time in the game, get so close to the finish and not be able to finish it!

no - i thought i had this problem too. after he says that he's tired of waiting just turnaround and walk back towards the centre of the room then rosa will come in.

Have you checked the whole room? You might have to check everything. I'm not completely sure, been a while since I played.
Other than that I'm really not sure what the problem could be... =\
