I desperately need some tips/tricks/strategy for this mission. You have no advantages in this mission. Your base sucks, your tech sucks, your army is out numbered and outclassed by turn 2, and their resource production makes my farms look like their managed by *bleep*. I've tried to even up the disadvantages, I've tried destroying the outlying resource buildings, I've tried turtle-ing and upping my tech, I've tried balacing the resource difference by both establishing resource nodes on the empty gold/food(which get catapulted), I thought about taking over the enemy's outlying resources, but by the time I've got them destroyed and a builder out there to build it, the situation at my base has become so hopeless that I end up just quitting(a.k.a, I'm outnumbered, my heros are dead, archers pick off and troops that I train before they're useful, catapults are blowing up my buildings, and all my outlying resources(if I actually managed to get any up) have been destroyed). This mission has gotten me ready to take my ds and throw it against the wall.
Please help.

There is actually a very easy way to defeat this level. If you can hold the enemy off for about 6-8 days the barrier between you and the capital becomes mutual. the units inside cant get out and the friendly units cant get in. All you have to do at that point is kill the remaining escaped unites, build up your team, use gastrophetes and Madusas to destroy what buildings the can reach and the go capture the remaining shrines. The barier will remain though. When you have your unites situated and the enimy crippled save your game, turn off your DS, turn it back on, and continue. The barrier should be gone. if not it will be the next turn.

survive long enough to get the temples and upgrade to Hermes at least.
Ceasefire->build like crazy and rush the place with everything you have once Ceasefire ends.
