well i was able to get the shotgun under his chin but when it goes off it always misses. i was really enjoying the game too.

It did require a lot of tapping on the melee key before the left mouse (fire) became highlighted

Hey, I finally got to blow his head of about 6 tries after my post. My version shows a superimposed pic of a mouse on screen with the right mouse (melee) highlighted when the struggle begins. When the superimposed pic changed to the left button highlighted I fired the left mouse then and his head disappeared. Good luck, I was also stuck there for part of yesterday and today.

Well.....My melee key is V, my use key is E, and my fire key is left mouse. I have just about worn out these 3 keys trying to kill that sucker, and I always miss! I have been stuck here for 3 weeks, off and on. I am serious when I say that I have tried at least 50 times, maybe more. 'Bout ready to give up and and go on to something else. This game is not worth this much trouble.

Is "Press RT" the fire (left Mouse) on the PC version

Press B repeatedly then press RT when the shotgun is aimed at his head. In other words, follow the on-screen prompts .
