Its says in the manual that the R2 button is used to switch between close range weapons.....Well, I tried pressing it, and it doesn't do anything. What does it really do? What am I doing wrong?

First you actually need to have a secondary close range weapon, like the Cerberus nunchakus, or the Agni and Rudra blades. Before a mission go to the set power up screen and equip it. There ya go, not too hard eh?
I tried that, but I can only equip one weapon at a time. You mean, when you go to customize (right before a mission) then, "equip". Well, I can only equip one weapon at a time.....Am i going to the right place.
Thats not right, you should be able to equip 2 if you have more than one weapon.

Sounds right to me... You have actually found more than one close range weapon though, right? If I remember rightly, you'll only have the Rebellion up until you beat Cerberus. The weapon equipping works the same as it does for gun type weapons though. For those, it's L2 you press. You should get a shotgun fairly early in the game to test that out.
