Why are my stats on Career mode higher than the stats on the Play Now mode?

At fist I thought it had to do with the equipment. But my power is EXACTLY the same on Career mode and PN mode and most of my equipment is for power. My speed and agility are each 27 pts. lower on Play Now mode but I only have a 20 pt. agility boost with my equipment.

Any help would be appriciated!
